The product provides a free, secure AI workspace for verified U.S. educators through June 2027, with education-grade privacy protections, collaboration tools, and district-level admin controls.

The launch rolled out to an initial cohort of districts representing approximately 150,000 educators nationwide, with coverage from CNBC, Education Week, EdTech Digest, and others. The campaign positioned ChatGPT not as a student tool but as a professional resource for teachers — helping them adapt materials, personalize instruction, and reclaim planning time.
