Twitter OOH Takeovers & Activations
Produced a series of large-scale OOH campaigns, transit takeovers, street activations, and Pride celebrations for Twitter across New York City and San Francisco.
Me On Twitter
Twitter made a splash with this OOH campaign in six subway stations across NYC and SF. Surprising and delighting users, while poking a little fun at our competitors.
Users were stoked — and the press picked it up, with coverage from Fast Company and others.
Twitter Is
With Twitter Is, we took our previously successful Me on Twitter subway campaign and pumped it up. The campaign spanned four distinct activations across New York and San Francisco.
Large OOH billboards took over prime locations in Brooklyn, the East Village, and SoHo. Full transit station dominations wrapped SF and NY stations floor-to-ceiling. Experiential chalking activations brought the campaign to street level with playful, tweet-inspired sidewalk art. And we topped it off with a custom candy pop-up store in NYC, giving away tweet-printed sweets.
Pride NYC DOOH
On the day of the march Twitter invited users to join in on the celebration with a massive Time Square DOOH takeover. Our simple flag animation brought the DOOH into the march itself, and allowed the rest of the world to wave the flag alongside their tweets of support.
